Shiv Kumar Dwivedi, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Godwa, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Shiv Kumar Dwivedi, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 30 acre. Average age of his orchard is about 30 years. 7 commercial and 10 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Shiv Kumar Dwivedi in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 7 out of which Dashehari, Langra, Chausa, Ramkela and Lucknow Safeda are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 10 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its old orchard, interested to maintain more varieties, source of income and good return and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from government nurseries. He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He is earning about Rs. 10000/- from his non-commercial varieties. He requires new technology adoption and multiplication to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income.

As per the perception of Shiv Kumar Dwivedi, Dashehari is excellent quality of mango variety which ripe during medium season. Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, medium size fruit, green yellow peel, yellow pulp, reason of demand is taste, appearance. no disease has been found to be resisted in this variety. The variety has resistance capacity against no. Shiv Kumar Dwivedi does exchanges fruits of Dashehari with others.

The variety has resistance capacity against no. Shiv Kumar Dwivedi doesn't exchanges fruits of Lucknow Safeda with others.
As the Shiv Kumar Dwivedi said that variety named as Ramkela produces medium quality fruits. It shows late ripening time. Taste of raw fruit in sour. After ripening, the fruits shows medium flavoured. no disease has been found to be resisted by the variety. The variety has resistance capacity against no. The variety is suitable for pickle. Ripe fruits are unsuitable as table variety. The fruits are suitable for sucking. The peel color is green and pulp color is yellow in ripe fruits. The pulp of ripe fruit not comprisesfibres.
