Nattha, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Sarsanda, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Nattha, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 4 hectare. Average age of his orchard is about 40 years. 2 commercial and 15 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Nattha in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 2 out of which Jaifar Bagh, Sheetal Bagh, Kalia Gola and Lamboi are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 15 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its source of income, self use, mango growing area,distribution among neighbours and relatives and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from Malihabad . He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He is earning about Rs 20000/- from his non-commercial varieties. He requires knowledge on insect and disease management, orchard management, proper facility of irrigation to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income. He is very hopeful for the future of his orchard, and expects that the next generation will take interest in conservation of existing varieties and also to bring more important variety in his orchard.

Mango Varieties of Nattha
As the Nattha said that variety named as Jaifarbagh produces excellent quality fruits. It shows early ripening time. Taste of raw fruit in sour. After ripening, the fruits shows excellent flavoured. The variety is not suitable for pickle. Ripe fruits are suitable as table variety. The fruits are suitable for sucking. The peel color is orange yellow and pulp color is orange yellow in ripe fruits. The pulp of ripe fruit not comprisesfibres. The fruit is of big size. The taste is the main reason for its demand of this variety in market. The exchange of fruits with any other thing has been reported by Nattha.
According to Nattha quality of Sheetal Bagh is excellent, ripening time is medium season, taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, unsuitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, orange yellow peel, orange yellow pulp, fibreless, and mediumsize fruit. Reason of demand is taste. Nattha does exchanges fruits of Sheetal Bagh with others.
As the Nattha said that variety named as Kaliya Gola produces excellent quality fruits. It shows late ripening time. Taste of raw fruit in sour. After ripening, the fruits shows excellent flavoured. The variety is suitable for pickle. Ripe fruits are unsuitable as table variety. The fruits are suitable for sucking. The peel color is orange yellow and pulp color is orange yellow in ripe fruits. The pulp of ripe fruit comprisesfibres. The fruit is of medium size. The taste is the main reason for its demand of this variety in market. The exchange of fruits with any other thing has been reported by Nattha.
As per the perception of Nattha, Lamboi is excellent quality of mango variety which ripe during medium season. Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, medium size fruit, green yellow peel, orange yellow pulp, reason of demand is taste. Nattha does exchanges fruits of Lamboi with others.
